Description
Works based on the concept of light reflection
Ever since I was a student holed up in the darkroom, I have been fascinated by photography as a form of light.
In this work, the surrounding world is depicted by reflections of natural light, while the snow and rain by reflections of artificial light.
During taking pictures, I felt as if I had become one with the world and my sense of self had disappeared, but I kept coming back to myself to realize that It was wrong.
I might be trying to leave a small, artificial imprint on nature.

光の反射をコンセプトにした作品
暗室にこもっていた学生時代から、光の造形としての写真の魅力に取り憑かれていました。
この作品では、周囲の世界は自然の光の反射に、写り込む雪や雨は人工的な光の反射によって描き出されています。
撮影中は、この世界と一体になり自分というものが消えてなくなったような気がして、でも勘違いと我に返ることを繰り返しています。
自然に対して、私は人工的で小さな爪痕を残そうとしているのかもしれません。（2024年10月）
